The Texas Hold'em is a classic version of poker. You can have from 1 to 4 opponents simultaneously.

• Four of a kind: four cards of one rank
• Full house : three matching cards of one rank, plus two matching cards of another rank
• Flush : five cards of the same suit, not in rank sequence
• Straight : five cards of sequential rank but more than one suit
• Three of a kind : three cards of the same rank
• Two pairs: two pairs
• One Pair: two cards of the same rank

When the players have the same combination, the following rules apply:

• The best pair is the pair of Aces, the worst, a pair of twos. If two players have exactly the same pair with their own cards, they are both winners. If they have the same pair with the cards taken in the flop, the one who has the strongest card in his hand (kicker), is declared the winner.
• The best double pair is the one that includes the strongest pair. The rule about the kicker is the same.

A new round of betting begins then, but the first player to bet is the one immediately to the left of the dealer. As previously, the players can raise, call or fold. Of course, if all the players fold except one, the latter is declared the winner.

At the end of this round, the dealer again burns a card and turns over a fourth one. This card is called the « turn ». They players can then use these four cards and the two first ones to create the best possible combination of 5 cards. A new round of betting then begins, as previously.
